This was twenty weeks

This was twenty-two weeks. I felt like I had

grown so much.

We are really excited about the new baby coming to our family.

Annie's Second Birthday

Annie's birthday was on the tenth and I can't believe so much time has passed. She is getting so big and talks all the time. We got her a slide, books, necklaces, and a toy to learn the alphabet (right now she just likes the sounds it makes).

Fall Review

My friend took our family pictures this year and they all turned out great.

This was Annie's first time out in the snow this year. She loved walking around and especially loves to wear her red hat. She puts it on in the house all the time.
This was Annie's first haircut. We only cut her bangs, because they were hanging way to long in the front. The back is all curls and we want to keep it that way.
Annie was a bee for halloween and loved to wear her costume. Keeping the hood on was a challenge though.
We went to Spirit Lake this year with one of Dan's brothers and his family. The hike to Tamarack Lake is about 3 miles away from spirit lake and it's a great place for fishing.

It's been so long since the last post. But hopefully I can catch up with just a few pictures.

Annie's First Broken Bone, Hopefully her last!!

This week has been very eventful for our family. Last Friday I was carrying Annie down the stairs and I slipped and we both went down. I got a bruise on my hip, but Annie got a tibia fracture. She wouldn't step down on her right foot and I knew something was wrong. She has been in a splint for four days and tomorrow we go to Primary Childrens to get the cast. She will be in a cast for 4-6 weeks and hopefully by then she will be completely healed and be able to walk again.

Christmas

Dan gave me a clarinet for Christmas and it's so much fun to play it and think back on the memories of playing in Junior High. I am a little rusty, but it's been suprisingly easy to pick it back up. We gave Annie puzzles, a shape sorter, and bike. It's too bad her birthday and Christmas are in the same month, because now she has to wait a whole year to open more presents. The wrapping paper was her favorite present.

Annie's Birthday

Annie turned 1 on Dec 10 and we had a party the night before. She didn't get too much into the cake, but it was the first time she had cake, maybe I should have prepared her more. She got lots of new toys and clothes, her favorite new toy is a doll. It's her first doll and she likes to chew on it's face.
