The Little Man is ONE

I had very good intentions of keeping up with my blog this year, but with three kids, I found it to be impossible.  Hopefully I will do better this next year.

What better time to start up again than on a birthday, and a first birthday no less.  Oliver turned one today and it causes me to reflect on this last year.  He has been a dream baby and I can't imagine my life without him.  Here is a quick review of the last year as a family of five.

This girl can't get enough of her brother.  She loves him, and only recently Oliver has started to really get comfortable around Ellie.

We finally got to go to the beach in Central California.  We saw Morro Rock and Avila Beach.  We went to the Hearst Castle one day, but mostly played at the beach.

Boat Ride near morro rock.  The kids were all troopers even when we went past the smelly sea lions.

Olivers First Christmas

So glad we got snow for christmas.  The girls have been playing outside constantly.  Now we need a new batch of snow to keep these girls happy.

We decided with Annie to have a tradition of giving our kids ice cream for the first time on their first birthday at Arctic Circle and give them a kiddie cone.  Since Oliver's birthday is on a Sunday we went one day early.  He was a little tentative at first but after two or three bits he took over and devoured the whole thing.  We love our little man and look forward to making many more memories this year as a family.  Thanks for being a part of our lives.
